Why should we drink boiled water in the rainy season?

Boiling is the surest method to kill disease-causing organisms, including viruses, bacteria, and parasites. During the rainy season most of the bacteria will grow, and also it helps in removing congestion by releasing phlegm from the respiratory system. Thus prevents cold and cough by having hot water during rainy season.
