Why should we get the null point in the middle of the Meter bridge wire?

Solution
Meter bridge:
It is used to measure unknown resistance. It is called a meter bridge because the length of the wire used is 1 meter.
It works on the principle of the Wheatstone bridge.
Balance Point:
The balance point or null point in the meter bridge is the point where when the jockey is placed, the galvanometer shows no deflection.
If the null point is in the middle of the meter bridge, then only P, Q, R, and S will become equal and the bridge will become more sensitive and will give more accurate results.
Hence, the null point should be in the middle of the meter bridge for higher accuracy in results.
