Why should we wear light coloured cotton clothes in summer ?

Dear student,

We wear light colour cotton cloths in summer because:

1. Light colour reflects light as a result it absorbs less heat as compared to dark colours. Hence comforting us in summers. If less heat is absorbed then we feel less heat. This is the reason we wear light colour cloths in summer

2. Cotton absorbs sweat and exposes it to the atmosphere to make it evaporate. This is the reason we wear cotton cloths in summer.
