Why sky looks blue to us?

Sky appears Blue in colour because of the scattering and dispersion of light by the atmospheric molecules. The light gets incident on these particles , the sunlight get scattered. As the blue colur has the lowest wavelenght it gets scattered a lot and red colour having the highest wavelenght the lowest. So Due to large scattering of Blue colour the most it appears in the sky and make it look of blue colour...
