Question

Why staining is done prior to mounting?

Open in App
Solution

It is done so...because if the given specimen is colourless or transparent..it may not be visible in the microscope as it is...it may look vanished..so in order to avoid any confusion while performing tha practicals..staining is done before mounting it on the slide for observing g under the microscope..it helps in easy identification of the various parts of the specimens clearly.
Hope it helped.
