Why the multicellular animals are opt to eat only one type of food like flesh or grass but they have a same kind of digestion processfor e.g. cow and lion?

Solution

The food eaten by the organism depends on various factors like structure of digestive system and the digestive juices produced within this system. Some animals like cow eat only grass because their digestive system is designed to process grass only. The digestive system produces only those enzymes which are efficient to digest grass not meat.

Similarly, in case of meat eating animals like lion, the digestive juices secreted by the digestive system are efficient to digest meat only. This is the reason that different animals eat different foods.
