Why the sea is blue?

3. Blue light is having a shorter wavelength, and the absorption of blue color by water will be less.
4. All other light having longer waves will be absorbed by water.
5. According to Rayleigh criteria, light having a shorter wavelength will scatter more.
6. The absorption of blue color by water is less and the scattering of blue color is more.
7. Hence the sea looks blue.
