why uniform magnetic and soft iron core field is used in moving coil galvanometer ?

Dear Student,

The sensitivity of a Moving Coil Galvanometer depends on the material used to determine torque the only reason that We use soft iron because it has high permeability compared to air, and unlike some other magnetic materials, and also has very low retentivity.
