Dear student,
Uric acid is produced as a nitrogenous waste in mainly birds, reptiles, and some terrestrial invertebrates(uricotelic). This form is the least toxic form of nitrogenous waste, because it requires very less quantity of water for its excretion and it could be stored in the solid form in the eggs of these organisms. Also, it could be stored in the body tissues or the cells without any kind of toxic effects.
Regards.
