Solution

Instructions: The answer to this question can be given by writing the military feats as well as the peaceful control achieved by Bukka Raya.

Solution:
  • Bukka Raya became the king of the Vijayanagara empire in 1357 CE.
  • Bukka Raya captured Penukonda from the Reddys of Kondaveedu.
  • He was also able to pacify the conflict between Jains and the Vyshnavas. Hence, he maintained religious harmony and equality in his empire. This fact has been explained in the Shravanabelagola inscriptions of 1368 CE. Hence, he is considered an important king of the Sangama dynasty.
