Why was print more advantageous than manuscript? Why did still some elite people prefer manuscript?

The printing is more advantageous because it is cheaper than manuscripts and easier process where as the manuscripts is done on hard surface by engraving or on dried animal skin or tree leaves which is time consuming and it also needs Scribes who could copy the relevant information on manuscripts.Printing made reading and writing process very cheaper.
