Why was the Russian revolution considered as an important event in the world history?

The Russian revolution was important because of the following reasons -

i) It resulted into end of autocratic rule, Czar and his family were put to death.
ii) The power came in the hands of working class under the leadership of Lenin.
​​​​​iii) Russia become powerful after the revolution earlier it was known for its backwardness.
iv) Land got distributed among poor peasants.T​​​rade union and other committies were formed.
v) In urban areas, houses were partitioned according to family need.
vi) A centralised planning system was introduced on the basis of Five Year Plans for the development of Russia.
vii) All newspapers that were not state controlled were banned to lessen criticism of government policies.
viii) The workers were allowed to get educated which was earlier reserved for nobility.
