Why we are not able to see in a dark room

Open in App
Solution

Light is the form of energy which gives us the sensation of vision. When light from a source strikes an object, it is reflected. When that reflected ray of light enters our eyes, an inverted image in formed on the RETINA (eye screen). THE IMAGE IS INTERPRETED BY THE BRAIN AND WE ARE ABLE TO SEE. So in a dark room, as their is no light, you cant see.
