Why we need to add manures and fertilizers to the soil?

Manure is an organic matter derived from the solid animal wastes, used to improve the soil quality and increase the yield of healthy crops.

Fertilizers:

Fertilizers are chemical substances supplied to the crops to increase their productivity. These are used by the farmers daily to increase the crop yield.

We need to add manures and fertilizers to the soil for following reasons:

1. Manures and fertilizers help in increasing the fertility of the soil.
2. Repeatedly growing plants on the same soil, leads the soil to becomes deficient in nutrients.
3. So, it is mandatory to add nutrients into the soil.

This is the reason why farmers add manures and fertilizers to the field.
