Question

Why we should breathe in through our nose and through our mouth?

Open in App
Solution

We should not breathe through the mouth because after intaking the air inside, it goes through many processes which are as follows:

  • Firstly in the nose the small hairs trap all the dust particles and microorganisms.
  • In air passage the temperature is maintained if the temperature of the air is too high then the body absorbed the extra heat and makes it normal and if the temperature is too low then the body adds some heat to it to make it normal.

These above-mentioned processes can not take place if we are inhaling air by mouth so we should always inhale through nostrils.
