Solution

In conical flask experiment germinating seed is taken as it releases a large amount of carbon dioxide which is measurable. Moreover, as the seed come out of dormancy period and require more energy is becoming metabolically active so the amount of certain hormones is high like gibberings that helps them to increase the process of respiration and break down of starch occurs at higher rate this helps to increase the release of CO2 from the seed.
