Solution

The common people were not against this club because it was formed of the lower sections like small shopkeepers, artisans like shoemakers, pastry-cooks, watch-makers, printers, servants and daily wage workers. It was organised under Robespierre to unite the common people to abolish the monarchy and declare France Republic .The elite class like noble and clergies disliked jacobins because they were reaping many benefits under monarchy so didn't wanted to mingle with the common people and felt that they would face a lot of prestige issues.
