Reasons for different speed for falling of paper.

  1. The crumpled ball has smaller surface area as compared to sheet of paper.
  2. The air resistance on sheet of paper when dropped from a height is larger than air resistance on crumpled paper ball.
  3. This air resistance decreases the speed of the sheet of paper.
