Will a body weigh more or less in vacuum,compared to its weight in air ?

  1. Weight of the body on vacuum will be more than in air .
  2. This is because, in vacuum there would be no upthrust acting on the body.
  3. However, air is a fluid, so it would exert upthrust on the object .

Hence, weight of a body will be more in vacuum when compared with air.
