Question

Will an elephant and ant fall with the same velocity in vacuum?

Open in App
Solution

Yes, both will take same time to reach ground, because the gravitational acceleration is same for both i.e. g(9.8 m/s^2). It doesn't depend on the weight or mass of the object.

This is only possibly in ideal case i.e in vacuum.
