Question

Will geographical isolation be major factor in the separation of an organism that reproduces asexually? Why or why not?

Solution

Asexual reproduction is the type of reproduction in which an organism reproduces without the involvement of gametes or sex cells. This form of reproduction is also uniparental as only one parent is involved and is sufficient for reproduction to take place. The geographical isolation of an asexually reproducing organism would not affect the organism much as it does not require mating for increasing its population.
