Rate of evaporation increase

Evaporation: The process where a liquid changes into a vapour below its boiling point is called evaporation.
With the increase in the surface area, the number of molecules which are exposed to atmosphere increases. So, that more number of molecules will absorb heat at a time and vapourized. Thus the rate of evaporation increases.
For example when we heat water in a boiling tube it t as ke time to evaporate but on China dish it evaporates faster becaus in increase in surface area
