Solution

The correct option is C Flopping
Wilting is the loss of turgidity of leaves resulting in drooping, folding and rolling of leaves. This occurs due to loss of water. Incipient wilting is partial loss of turgidity due to excessive water loss through transpiration. Permanent wilting is loss of turgidity of leaves which is not regained even on being placed in a suitable atmosphere. Temporary wilting of sun plants occurs if they are exposed to bright sunlight after rains. This phenomenon is called flopping.
Thus, the correct answer is option C.
