The correct option is B 10^i+10^j
Velocity of wind is 10 ms1 from south to north i.e
vwind=10^j

But to the cyclist it appears to blow from the East at 10 ms1. So, velocity of wind relative to the cyclist is 10 ms1 from the east to west. i.e
vwind/cyclist=10^i
since vwind/cyclist=vwindvcyclist
10^i=10^jvcyclist
vcyclist=10^i+10^j
Hence, the correct answer is (B).
