Eka movement was started at the end of 1921 and ended by March 1922.

The issues involved were:
(i) high rents—50 per cent higher than the recorded rates;
(ii) oppression of thikadars in charge of revenue collection; and
(iii) practice of share-rents

Bardoli Satyagraha :

• The movement sparked off in January 1926 when the authorities decided to increase the land revenue by 30 per cent. The Congress leaders were quick to protest and a Bardoli Inquiry Committee was set up to go into the issue.

The All India Kisan Congress/Sabha :

• This sabha was founded in Lucknow in April 1936 with Swami Sahjanand Saraswati as the president and N.G. Ranga as the general secretary. A kisan manifesto was issued and a periodical under Indulal Yagnik started. The AIKS and the Congress held their sessions in Faizpur in 1936.

• इस सभा की स्थापना अप्रैल 1936 में लखनऊ में स्वामी सहजानंद सरस्वती ने अध्यक्ष और एन. जी. रंगा ने महासचिव के रूप में की थी। इसके द्वारा एक किसान घोषणापत्र जारी किया गया और इंदुलाल याग्निक द्वारा एक आवधिक समाचार पत्र की शुरुआत की गई थी। AIKS और कांग्रेस ने 1936 में फैजपुर में अपने सत्र आयोजित किए।
