Solution

The correct option is C Karyokinesis precedes cytokinesis
In mitotic cell division, the cell elongates and the nucleus starts to divide by process starting from disintegration of nuclear envelope and separation of chromosome to opposite poles of elongated cell with help of centrioles. In late telophase, the nuclear envelope appears and the cytokinesis occurs by the end of telophase following which, the cell clearly gets divided into two daughter cell.
So, the correct option is 'Karyokinesis precedes cytokinesis'.
