(a) The middle ear or membranous labyrinth has two structures inside it, the cochlea and the semi-circular canals.
(b) Malleus, incus and stapes. The biological term for them collectively is called ossicles.
(c) Static balance - Utriculus and sacculus (inner ear)
Hearing - Internal ear
Dynamic balance - Semi-circular canals (inner ear)
d) The Auditory nerve.They are also known as the 8th cranial nerve.
