The qualifications required for a member to be elected to the Lok Sabha are as follows;

1. The person must be a citizen of India.

2. The person must not be less than twenty-five years of age on the date of scrutiny of nominations.

3. The person must possess such other qualifications as may be prescribed in that behalf by or under any law made by Parliament.
