Solution
Osteogenic cells are stem cells that may form osteoblasts or osteoclats.
Osteoblasts are the cells that form new bone. Some of the osteoblasts turn into osteocytes while the new bone is being formed, and the osteocytes then get surrounded by new bone.
The osteocytes send out long branches called Haversian canals that connect to the other osteocytes.
Osteoclast secrete acids that dissolve the bone so that osteoblasts can make new bone.
