Solution

Aim - The goal is to demonstrate that metals are malleable.
Material required - A little iron nail, a piece of coal, an aluminium wire, pencil lead, and a hammer are required.
Procedure - Using the hammer, separately beat each material to assess its malleability.
Observation -

  • You will notice that the iron nail and aluminium get slightly flattened and change shape.
  • Coal and pencil lead, on the other hand, are broken into fragments.

Conclusion - This demonstrates that metals are malleable.
