Coordination is the force that binds all the functions of management and establishes harmony among them. Coordination is the orderly synchronising of efforts of subordinates to provide proper amount, timing and quality of execution, so that their united efforts lead to the stated objectives, namely, the common purpose of the enterprise.
E.g. If goods are not produced in certain quantity at the right time, supply of goods to customers cannot be undertaken by the sales department. This will lead to wastage of resources, effort and time.
