Step 1. Draw a ray AB with suitable length. Suppose AB = 6 cm.

Step 2. Taking A as a centre construct an angle of measure $60°$ at A.

Step 3. Similarly taking B as a centre construct an angle of measure $60°$ at B.

Step 4. On measuring the each sides using ruler we can check that each sides is of $6cm$. Therefore triangle obtained is a equilateral triangle.
