Centrifugal force is the force exerted on the contents of the rotor that aids in the separation of aqueous solution at a particular RPM. This force is equally opposite of the centripetal force acting on the rotor which is measured by an equation
F =mω2r, where m represents the mass of rotor, r is the radius of rotor and ω is the angular frequency.
So the diameter of the rotor (2r) is directly proportional to F, so as the diameter increases, centripetal force increases which is equal to the centrifugal force.
