Solution

Dear Student,

For a rational number to have a terminating decimal point, the primefactorisation of the denominator must only contain powers of 2 and 5.That is the denominator must contain only 2x×5y wherex and y are any integers. In the rational number 12922×57×75 the denominator contains powers of 7 in addition to the powers of 2 and 5.Therefore the rational number 12922×57×75 has a non terminatingdecimal point.

Regards.
