Let $f (x) = 2 (x^{2} - 1) + 3 x - 9$

$= 2 x^{2} + 3 x - 11$

By comparing with $f (x) = a x^{2} + b x + c$
$a = 2, b = 3, c = - 11$

Sum of zeroes $(α + β) = \frac{- b}{a} = \frac{- 3}{2}$

Product of zeroes $(α . β) = \frac{c}{a} = \frac{- 11}{2}$
