Open in App
Solution

Let us divide 4000 by 2

Step 1 : Divide 4 thousands by 2 i.e., 4÷2=2

Write 2 in the thousands place of the quotient and write product 4, below the dividend in the thousands place. 4-4=0

Step 2 : Bring down 0

0÷2=0

Write 0 in the hundreds place of the quotient and write product 0, below the dividend in the hundreds place. 0-0=0

Step 3 : Bring down 0

0÷2=0

Write 0 in the tens place of the quotient and write product 0, below the dividend in the tens place. 0-0=0

Step 4 : Bring down 0

0÷2=0

Write 0 in the ones place of the quotient and write 0 below the dividend in ones place. 0-0=0

THHTO200024000-400-000-000-00
