Would you place the two isotopes of chlorine, Cl35 and Cl37 in different slots because of their different atomic masses or in the same slot because their chemical properties are the same? Justify your answer.

Same slots are allotted for compounds which have same chemical properties, i.e., atomic numbers. Here, the atomic number do not change for isotopes so they are placed in same slot.
