6. Many microorganisms carry out the decomposition of dead remains of plants and animals.
7. Spirulina and yeast are used as single-cell proteins (superfood).
8. Yeast is used on a commercial basis for the production of alcohol through fermentation.
9. Microorganisms carry out the processing and aging of cheese.
10. Some microbes are used as a probiotic (maintain a healthy gut of the host).
