As we know that for any non-zero integer 'a' and natural numbers m and n where m>n, we have;

aman=am-n, i.e., we will subtract the powers in case we have same base and different powers in the division.

So, according to this,(-8)7÷(-8)3=(-8)7-3=(-8)4.

Hence, (-8)7÷(-8)3 as a single exponent will be equal to (-8)4.
