Solution
(i) 2C2H6+7O2→4CO2+6H2O
Carbon dioxide and water are obtained.
(ii) CaC2+2H2O→Ca(OH)2+C2H2
Calcium hydroxide and acetylene are formed.
(iii) C2H5OH+H2SO4→C2H5HSO4+H2O
C2H5HSO4→C2H4+H2SO4
Ethene and sulphuric acid are the products formed.
