Write a brief note on Kwashiorkor's effects on children.

Kwashiorkor is the form of malnutrition in which there is a deficiency of protein. There is a loss of muscle mass, loss of weight, swelling of the belly, swelling of the ankles and feet, etc. It shows symptoms like diarrhoea and fatigue generally observed. The bones of the child, abdominal ribs can be observed.
