Solution: The homogenous mixture of one or more solutes in the solvent is called a solution.
Solute: The substance which is dissolved into another substance ( solvent) is called a solute. For example- In sugar solution, sugar is solute.
Solvent: The substance in which solute is dissolved is called the solvent. For example- In sugar solution, water is the solvent.
Solubility : The limiting amount of solute i.e. the amount of solute after which no further solute can be added in a fixed quantity of solvent at a particular temperature is called as solubility.
The change in pressure and temperature affects the solubility of a fixed solute in a particular solvent.
As the temperature is increased more solute can be dissolved in the solvent because on heating the intermolecular spaces between solvent molecules increases and hence more solute can be added.
