Solution

Infertility is the state in which the individual cannot produce viable and fertile gametes. There are many different reasons which contribute to infertility.
  • Abnormal sperm production due to malfunctioning of the testes due to various problems, such as undescended testicles, the small size of testes, genetic defects, etc.
  • Problems with the delivery of sperm into the female tract due to obstruction in the genital tract of male or female.
  • Ovulation disorders hinder or prevent the ovaries from releasing eggs.
  • Fallopian tube damage or blockage resulting from inflammation of the fallopian tube will refer to the inability of the oviducts to contain the egg for fertilization. This can result from pelvic inflammatory disease.
All these factors can result in infertility.
