Modes of communication are continually changing. What are some of these changes? Mention the one change you like best and give a suitable reason for it.

Communication is one of the essential traits of human existence. It is something that defines the way of life for most people around the globe. There have been countless modifications observed in the last decade or two in respect of communication. These changes have both positive and negative impacts on humanity. I, however, believe that the pros greatly outweigh the cons.

To begin with, it is no surprise that communication plays a pivotal role in the society today and is a source of immense happiness for many. It helps people convey messages to their loved ones who live far away from them quickly and efficiently. Communication has also improved several things like efficient medical aid, removal of barriers between people and strengthening human relationships, etc.

On the other hand, the side effects of the technological advancements in the field of communication cannot be ignored. It has allowed many hackers to target potential gullible people. Moreover, the protection of personal information is also primarily at the risk of being compromised with too much involvement in the digital world. In addition to that, while the various mediums of digital or virtual communication have just intensified and increased over the last few years, the need for physical meetings and “catching up” has almost become redundant, which is a shame.

In my opinion, the advent of communication has brought with it a wide range of excellent possibilities as well as some significant drawbacks. However, the positive impacts outweigh the cons. I believe that if it is controlled and used for the greater good of humanity, communication shall grow even more to become a large solution to many problems around the world.
