Dear Sir,
Subject : STOP PAYMENT, CHEQUE NO. 654321,
DATED FEBRUARY 27, 2006, OF RS. 60,000/-

I am writing to confirm our Fax sent to you this morning, which reads as:
"STOPPAYMENT, CHEQUE NO. 654321, OF RS. SIXTY THOUSAND , DATED TWENTY SEVENTH FEBRUARY, IN FAVOUR OF TYRESTONE LTD." The same cheque was sent to them by post on the Pune address on 28 February. The company has informed us that they have not received the cheque so far. The cheque must have been lost in transit. You are, therefore, requested to 'STOP PAYMENT' of the cheque and the said cheque be treated as "CANCELLED"

Yours faithfully,
