Human skin consists of various glands namely sweat glands, sebaceous glands and mammary glands.
Sweat glands release sweat through specialized ducts. They help the body to eliminate salts and minerals such as urea. (1 marks)
Sebaceous glands are oil-producing glands which help inhibit bacteria, keep us waterproof and prevent our hair and skin from drying out. (1 mark)
Mammary glands produce milk. (1 mark)
