Write a note on disaster management?
Answer:
A disaster is described as a major disturbance, whether natural or man-made, which occurs over short or long periods of time. Disasters may lead to human, material, economic or environmental difficulties that may be beyond the affected society’s bearable ability.
Disaster Management is resource management to fix unwanted contingencies. In order to meet natural and artificial emergencies, disaster management handles resources. Emergencies can not be regulated, but we can make arrangements to reduce their impact on society. Governments and physicians have responsibilities to treat unexpected situations.
