Answer:

The environment can be described as the aggregate amount of all living & non-living elements and their impacts that affect human life. Whereas plants, animals, forests, oceans, and birds are all living or biotic components. The aspects that are non-living or abiotic include water, soil, sunlight, rocks, and air and so on.

Types of environment

The two different kinds of the environment are

  1. Geographical Environment

It comprises of all the components that nature offers, that can thus be named as the natural environment. It is often called the physical environment since it refers to life’s physical requirements. These physical or geographical environments aren’t reliant on human life, but sometimes humans have little control over the external physical environments.

Examples – Mountains, plains, land, water, deserts, storms, cyclones, volcanoes, oceans, climatic factors, and so on

  1. Human-made environment

The human-made environment is being used to relate to the one created by man to control and monitor certain aspects of the environment. Some think of it as a social-cultural environment.
