1. Gases have larger intermolecular spaces than other states of matter.
2. When heat is provided to gases, the kinetic energy of their molecules increases which lead to the expansion of gas.
3. Increased kinetic energy results in increased pressure on the walls of the container.
4. Gases expand vigorously when heat is provided to them. This is known as the Thermal Expansion of gases.
5. Body dimension increases due to thermal expansion.
