Global warming is a gradual increase in earth’s temperature generally due to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, CFCs, and other pollutants.

Consequences of global warming are as follows;

1. Rise in temperature of earth’s atmosphere.

2. Melting of polar glaciers and increased sea level.

3. Loss of ecosystem – wildlife and marine form.

4. Affects vegetation.
